Three men arrested following passport factory raids

Three men have been arrested following raids in London and Coventry in connection with identity document forgery, police said.

Raids in Harrow Road, Old Kent Road and Willesden revealed two working passport factories, along with several forged passports and £7,000 in cash.

Officers found further forged documents at a property in Coventry.

The men, aged 28, 30 and 33, were arrested on Tuesday and remain in police custody in south London.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police, West Midlands Police and the UK Border Agency carried out the raids following a year-long investigation.
