Five jump to safety escaping Isleworth fire
Five people were forced to jump from a first-floor flat in west London to escape a fire.
The fire broke out in a single storey timber storeroom in Jersey Parade, Isleworth, at about 0315 BST.
When the flames grew too intense to escape down a staircase, five people in an adjacent flat then jumped to safety.
One 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with an ankle injury. Two other people were rescued from the flat.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the building and the fire was eventually brought under control at about 0430 BST.
A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said the storeroom was "100% damaged" by the flames.
