Twickenham nursery worker assault appeal thrown out

A nursery worker who was jailed for assaulting a toddler at a south London nursery after the child wet himself has had his appeal thrown out of court.

The two-year-old was hit on the head with gloves and had his genitals tapped with a ruler at the nursery in Twickenham on 18 January.

Wesley Prigmore, 21, from Hounslow, west London, was jailed in June for six months for two counts of assault.

His appeal against is sentence was thrown out by Kingston Crown Court.
