Southgate murder victim was 'kind' daughter
A man has paid tribute to his daughter who was murdered in north London.
Czech national Jitka Nahodilova, 27, suffered multiple stab wounds in an attack in Hampden Way, Southgate, and her body was found on Sunday.
Hours earlier a 23-year-old Czech man was killed by a train at Finsbury Park Tube station. Police linked the cases and said they were not looking for anyone else over Ms Nahodilova's death.
Her father, Lubomir Nahodi, said she was "kind, considerate and loving".
She was the deputy manager of a clothing company, police said.
Det Insp Liz Baker of the Metropolitan Police said it had been "a tragic case and our hearts go out to everybody involved".
She thanked the Czech embassy in London for its help in the investigation.
The man's name has not been released but was due to be formally identified on Friday.
