Arrests over Westbourne Park stab attack
Two people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old man in west London.
The victim was stabbed in the abdomen and back on 7 January in Westbourne Park. His condition is said to be serious but stable.
The suspects, aged 18 and 19, were arrested in west London. They were questioned at separate police stations and bailed until March.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the attack.
The victim was walking home at about 0015 GMT having been on a night out with friends.
He then noticed a large group of people following him.
The teenager ran away, but he tripped and the group caught up with him. He was then stabbed several times.
Det Ch Insp Mick Forteath, who is leading the investigation, said: "I continue to urge anyone who may have seen or heard something, or who was in the area at the time of the attack, to get in touch as soon as possible.
"Somebody somewhere knows about this crime and we need their help."
