Musician gets back £6,000 clarinets after mugging

A classical musician who was mugged in east London on the way home from a concert has been reunited with his two clarinets worth a total of £6,000.

William Stafford, 25, was returning home from the Barbican on 29 December when he was "forcibly searched" by three young men near Stratford station.

Following a tip-off, a man, 21, and a youth, 16, were arrested at a shop in the area.

They are bailed to return to an east London police station on Tuesday.
