London City Airport staff 'may face strike ballot'
Workers at London's City Airport may be balloted for strikes in a row over pay and conditions, union leaders warned.
The GMB said its executive would meet next week to consider holding a strike ballot among airport ground staff, whose pay has been frozen since 2008.
A consultative ballot showed that 97% of the workers wanted to vote on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action, the union claimed.
GMB official Stephanie Attwood said any strike would hit flights.
