Retrial for murder charge woman Patricia Malcolm

A woman accused of setting a man alight and killing him before trying to withdraw money from his account is facing a retrial.

Frank Hancock, 63, died five days after the attack in his kitchen in Catford, south London, in February 2010.

An Old Bailey jury cleared Patricia Malcolm of perverting the course of justice but failed to reach a verdict on a murder charge.

Ms Malcolm, 53, of Catford, admitted theft and attempting to withdraw money.
