Teenager arrested over Kilburn sports pitch murder

A teenager has been arrested over the murder of a 22-year-old who died in a double stabbing in north-west London.

Iran-born Milad Golmakani from Swiss Cottage, north-west London, was attacked on a sports pitch in Mortimer Crescent, Kilburn, on Wednesday.

He suffered stab wounds to his chest and neck. A second male who was stabbed in the arm remained in a stable condition in hospital, police said.

A 17-year-old was detained on Friday and is being questioned.
