Raymond Mitchell shooting: Two held over Brixton murder

Two people have been arrested over the murder of a 34-year-old man who was shot dead in south London.

Raymond Mitchell, of Croydon, south London, died in hospital after being found injured in Marcus Garvey Way, Brixton, on 17 April.

A 27-year-old man and a boy of 17 were being held at separate police stations in south London, Scotland Yard said.

Operation Trident, which deals with gun crime in London's black community, has been carrying out the investigation.
