Two jailed over promoter attack in south-east London

Two men have been jailed for grievous bodily harm with intent after the death of a nightclub promoter in south-east London.

Daniel Herbert, of Orpington, was found with a bullet wound to the head in Bermondsey on 17 August 2009.

Bobby Winser, 22, of Bermondsey, and Michael Campbell, 25, of Camberwell, were sentenced to 14 years each.

They were both found not guilty of the 27-year-old's murder at the Old Bailey on 19 May.

Darren Mitchell, 42, and Doreen Mitchell, 68, both from Brassey Parade, Eastbourne, were both found guilty of assisting Winser.

Their sentencing has been adjourned until 15 June.
