Bullet grazes boy's forehead in London Fields shooting

A 15-year-old boy escaped critical injury when a bullet grazed his head.

Officers were called to London Fields, Hackney, east London, at about 2245 BST on Thursday over reports of gunshots, but found no victim at the scene.

Police said they were later told about a boy being admitted to hospital with a bullet wound across his forehead.

The teenager remains in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made.
