London Bridge pedestrian hit by motorbike dies

A woman pedestrian who was hit by a motorcyclist on London Bridge has died from her injuries.

The 47-year-old woman was on Thursday morning at the south end of the bridge over the River Thames in central London.

The victim, who was taken to an east London hospital, died from her injuries on Thursday night.

The motorcyclist, who stopped at the scene, was discharged after being treated for a shoulder injury.

The next of kin of the victim, who is yet to be formally identified, have been informed and no arrests have been made.
