Two more Scotland Yard officers face misconduct hearing
Two more Scotland Yard officers are to face misconduct proceedings over fresh allegations of "discreditable conduct" with a suspected stolen car.
The allegation relates to the misuse of the vehicle in north London in 2008.
The officers are from the former Enfield crime squad, which has been at the centre of several investigations.
They will appear before a misconduct hearing on 1 August - while five other officers face a hearing on 4 July.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Both officers face allegations of discreditable conduct regarding the use of a vehicle seized by police.
"As this and other misconduct processes relating to linked investigations have not been concluded, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time."
