Man arrested after woman stabbed in Kentish Town

A man has been arrested after a woman was attacked in north London.

Officers were called to Castle Road in the Kentish Town area to reports of an assault shortly after 0300 BST.

The victim, in her 40s, suffered stab wounds to the arm. She was taken to a hospital where she remains in a stable condition, police said.

The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and will be questioned later at a north London police station.
