Five are charged in cocaine trafficking investigation
Five people have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine as part of a probe into alleged drug trafficking in London and the South East.
The three men and two women, who are all from south-east London, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
A 27-year-old woman and two men, aged 53 and 37, were also arrested and bailed until July pending inquiries.
The 53-year-old was re-arrested on Friday and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Angela Firth, 49, and Charles Flatman, 64, of Elwill Way, Beckenham, were charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and possessing and concealing criminal property. Mr Flatman was charged with a further count of possession of an offensive weapon.
Mark Worden, 51, of Boughton Avenue, Bromley, was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Daniel Flatman, 24, and Tina Fox, 57, of Lucerne Road, Orpington, were charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and possessing and concealing criminal property.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court in September.
