Two boys accused of murdering a 16-year-old who was stabbed in the neck in south-east London have been remanded in custody.

Yemurai Kanyangarara, of Belvedere, was with a friend when he was attacked soon after getting off a 96 bus in Upper Wickham Lane in Welling on Friday.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, were remanded after appearing at Camberwell Youth Court charged with murder.

The teenagers will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday.

The 15-year-old is from Peckham and the 14-year-old is from Camberwell.

Yemurai, who went to St Columba's Catholic Boys' School, Bexleyheath, had been living with his father in Leicester and had come to the capital to sit his GCSEs, his friends said.
