Forest Gate raids: Seven remanded on drug dealing charges

Seven people have been remanded in custody charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

The seven, aged from 17 to 23, were charged after a crackdown on class A drug dealing on Romford Road, Forest Gate, east London, on Wednesday.

They are due to appear at Inner London Crown Court on 16 September after appearing before magistrates.

The crackdown was part of the Met's Operation Target which tackles crime against people and property in London.
