Two 18-year-olds have been arrested over the murder of a man who was fatally stabbed near a Tube station.

Vitalijs Janovics, 38, was found in Jamaica Road, Bermondsey, south-east London, early on Friday.

Police think he was attacked at a bus stop at about 01:05 BST.

They are trying to trace a group of three men who were sitting on steps nearby, and about 11 people who got off the last train to Bermondsey at 01:00 BST.

"We would like to hear from any of Mr Janovics' friends and colleagues who could help us get a picture of what he may have been doing on Thursday night into Friday morning, prior to his death," said Det Ch Insp Amanda Hargreaves, of the Metropolitan Police.

The two suspects were detained on Tuesday evening and are being questioned at a police station in south London.
