Leroy James stabbing: Boy, 15, released on bail

A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murdering a 14-year-old on a recreation ground in north London, has been released on bail, police said.

The boy was arrested on Thursday over the death of Leroy James in Ponders End Recreation Ground, Enfield. He has been released pending further inquiries.

Leroy was found with a single stab wound on Wednesday evening.

A 14-year-old boy, also arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in custody, the Metropolitan Police said.

Leroy, from Edmonton, north London, was found slumped against a climbing wall within the recreation ground.

The Met said Leroy was in the park with friends before he was attacked.
