Ex-partner denies murdering Julie Dorsett
The former partner of a woman whose torso was found on an east London allotment has denied her murder.
Julie Dorsett, 33, went missing in October 2002 and some of her bones were found at Low Hall Farm Allotments, in Walthamstow, in August 2008.
Sinclair Lewis, 54, was arrested in Devon in May.
He pleaded not guilty to murdering Miss Dorsett of Clapton, east London, at an Old Bailey hearing and was remanded in custody until a trial in January.
Miss Dorsett disappeared from the Hackney area of east London but was not reported missing for two months.
She was treated as a missing person until part of her body was found in the allotment by a gardener.
