Jonathan Barnes killed in Croydon shooting

A 20-year-old man has been killed in a shooting in south London.

Jonathan Barnes from Lewisham was found with a bullet wound to his head at an address in Morland Road, Croydon, at about 21:00 BST on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital but died in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police are looking for a suspect in his 20s, who was wearing trainers and a dark hooded jacket and dark jeans. He was seen running towards Beckford Road around the time of the attack.

A post-mortem examination will be held in Croydon on Friday.
