Man hurt in west London shooting - Met Police

A man has been injured during a shooting in west London.

The victim was attacked at about 05:00 BST in Uxbridge Road, West Ealing. He was left with a minor injury and taken to hospital.

His condition is not life-threatening and there have not been any arrests over the attack, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.

Officers from the Trident unit - which investigates gun crime in the black community - are investigating.

The spokesman said: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a shot male.

"Officers attended and a male was taken to hospital for treatment."
