Teenager in court over boy's stabbing in Edmonton
A teenager has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a boy in the same spot where a man was killed after remonstrating with conker-throwing youths.
The 15-year-old victim was attacked in College Close in Edmonton, north London, on Wednesday and is in a serious but stable condition.
Steven Grisales, 21, was stabbed there on 31 August and died the next day.
A 16-year-old was remanded into custody when he appeared before magistrates.
He will next appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on 14 September.
A second 16-year-old arrested over the stabbing has been bailed to return to a north London police station on 12 October pending further inquiries .
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with Mr Grisales' murder.
