CCTV released over woman's broken hip in Hackney riots

Police have released CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to after a 75-year-old broke her hip during the recent disorder in east London.

The woman had gone out to see what the disturbance was on Clarence Road, Hackney, on 8 August.

When seeing the violence, she headed back to her home but was knocked to the ground by a passing woman.

Police have issued CCTV images of a woman, believed to be about 19-years-old, that they wish to speak to.

Det Con Amy Fuller said: "Our victim has been left critically ill in hospital.

"It is essential we identify this person and I would urge anyone who might have information or who witnessed the incident to contact us."
