A man who killed a delivery driver by knocking him down with his own van has been jailed for seven years.

Charles Bunyasi, 49, was hit by the Ford Transit in Coulsdon, south London, while making a delivery in June.

Terell Thuesday, 28, of Redsan Close, Croydon, was jailed at Croydon Crown Court on Friday after admitting causing death by dangerous driving.

He also admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice and was banned from driving for 10 years.

David Browne, 47, of Fulham Road, Fulham, admitted perverting the course of justice in relation to the case and is due to be sentenced on 13 October.

Mr Bunyasi, of Mitcham, south London, had three children and worked for Sutton Council's parks team for 12 years and did delivery jobs at weekends.
