Reward over Bexleyheath supermarket armed robbery

A £10,000 reward has been offered for information to catch armed robbers who targeted a store in south-east London.

The raiders went into the branch of Sainsbury's Local in Avenue Road, Bexleyheath, armed with what is believed to be a shotgun.

Three staff members were forced into a back room while a fourth escaped and raised the alarm.

Police advised people not to approach a suspect, Robert Worrell, who has links to Woolwich, Thamesmead and Greenwich.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr Worrell, 32, was urged to dial 999.

Police said a quantity of cash and items of clothing were found close to the store which was targeted at 22:40 BST on 28 August.
