Three charged over rioting after Hackney dawn raids

Two men and a teenager have been charged following a series of raids across Hackney in connection with offences during August's London riots.

Julian Borja, 22, of south Tottenham and Kimera Baker, 23, of Newington Green, were both charged with violent disorder and remanded in custody.

A 17 year old has been charged with burglary and possession of a class B drug. He was also remanded in custody.

They are due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

It is understood the suspects were held over offences alleged to have taken place on 8 August.

The arrests come two months after riots which started in London and spread to several other English towns and cities.

The police on Friday released a further ten images of people sought in connection with the disorder in Hackney.
