Boy charged over burglary at Covent Garden Apple store

A 16-year-old boy and a man have been charged over a smash-and-grab attack at the Apple Store in central London.

A window of the Covent Garden store was smashed and several iPads and other items stolen in the burglary in the early hours of Monday, police said.

The teenager, from Islington, north London, and Paul Fearn, 21, of Turnpike House, Goswell Road, Islington, were charged with burglary.

The pair will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court later.
