Metropolitan Police officers arrested in theft inquiry

Three Metropolitan Police (Met) constables have been arrested on suspicion of theft.

The officers, based in Greenwich, south-east London, were arrested at their homes in the early hours, a police spokesman said.

The men, aged 29, 45 and 37, are being held at a south London police station while inquiries continue.

They were arrested by officers from the MPS Directorate of Professional Standards.
