Man injured in Bloomsbury bus crash dies

A man who was seriously injured when he was hit by a double-decker bus in central London last month has died.

The Metropolitan Police said the 67-year-old was knocked over as he used a pedestrian crossing in Theobalds Road, Bloomsbury, on 28 September.

He was taken to hospital with serious chest, arm and pelvic injuries and remained in a critical condition until 22 October when he died.

Witnesses to the accident have been urged to contact police.

The bus driver, who stopped at the scene, was not arrested.
