Two arrested over Bow club murder of Kelvin Easton

Two people have been arrested over the murder of a man who was stabbed in an east London nightclub.

Kelvin Easton, 23, was stabbed in the heart inside the Boheme nightclub in Mile End Road, Bow, on 27 March.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 23-year-old woman was held on suspicion of assisting an offender, police said.

Police said 12 other people were detained over the murder of the father-of-two, but no-one has been charged.

Eleven have been bailed until March 2012 and one was released with no further action.

Police have previously appealed for information on the murder which took place inside the venue. Up to 500 people were present in the premises at the time.

Emergency services found Mr Easton, of Gospatrick Road, Haringey, inside the venue, which is located at the junction of Mile End Road and Burdett Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
