Woman, 71, charged over Barking grave flower theft

A 71-year-old woman has been charged over stealing floral tributes from a cemetery in east London.

The Metropolitan Police had been investigating an allegation of theft of flowers from a grave in Rippleside Cemetery in Barking.

The name and address of the woman who has been charged have not been given by police.

The woman will appear on bail at Redbridge Magistrates' Court in Ilford, east London, later.
