Man found guilty of Forest Gate double murder shooting

A man has been found guilty of killing two men who were shot dead near the hotel they owned in east London.

Mohammed Ayub Khan, 27, of no fixed address, was convicted of murdering Amarjit Singh, 52, and his nephew Rajinder Singh, 25.

The men, who jointly owned and the ran the Forest View Hotel, were found dead in Forest Gate on 28 August 2003.

At Woolwich Crown Court, Khan, was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 26 years in prison.

An earlier charge of the attempted murder of a 26-year-old woman was dropped.
