Two men have been arrested at Heathrow Airport in connection with the murder of a teenager in east London.

Danny O'Shea, 18, was stabbed to death after fleeing a gang of youths close to his home in Canning Town on 2 December.

Police said the two men, aged 33 and 39, had been held at the west London airport on Monday morning.

It brings the total number of people arrested over the murder to 11. The other nine have been released on police bail.

Police had been called to Gill Avenue following reports that a man had been injured.

Mr O'Shea, of Gill Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.

Officers are keen to trace the occupants of a white Ford Transit with red and blue lettering on it and the words "self-drive hire".

The vehicle was in the area of Butchers Road between 15:00 GMT and 18:00 on 2 December.
