Six people have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in north London.

Police were called to Lordship Lane, near Wood Green Crown Court, Haringey, shortly after 14:00 GMT after reports of an assault.

An eyewitness said youths had been seen arguing around the area of the court at around the time the stabbing took place.

The Met said the teenager had multiple stab wounds and was in hospital.

His condition was described as "non-life threatening".

The ages of those arrested ranged from 16 to 19, said police.
