Three charged after man stabbed in Newham, east London

Three men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in east London, leaving him in a critical condition.

A man in his 20s was admitted to Newham General Hospital on Friday morning suffering from stab wounds.

Officers believe the man was stabbed at an address in Kent Street, Newham.

Amareshwar Arava, 25, Sai Kishore Balguri, 25, and Nishanth Puttapaka, 23, of Kent Street, are due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A further eight people who were arrested have been bailed to return on future dates.
