Man, 20, hurt in south London street stabbing
A 20-year-old man has been stabbed in south London.
Police were called at about 04:20 GMT to Shardelowes Road, New Cross, where paramedics were treating a man with knife wounds.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition but police say he is now stable.
A police spokesman said officers would investigate whether the attack was connected to seven possibly-linked stabbings in the Brixton area.
But he said at the moment there was nothing to suggest it was related.
Nobody has been arrested over the latest stabbing, but inquiries by Lewisham Borough Police continue.
A 17-year-old boy died on Friday following the spate of knife attacks while another was left critically injured.
