Teen charged with attempted murder after boy stabbed

A 17-year-old boy from Lambeth has been charged with the attempted murder of a teenage boy who was stabbed near a bus garage in south London.

The victim, also aged 17, remains in hospital in a stable condition, a police spokesman said.

The incident happened at about 13:15 GMT on 2 March on Ernest Avenue in West Norwood.

The teenager, who was also charged with two counts of robbery, has appeared in custody at Camberwell Youth Court.

He will next appear at Camberwell Magistrates' Court on 16 March.
