Turnpike Lane shooting: Two charged with murder

Two men have been charged with murder after a fatal shooting near a London Underground station.

Younis Sagir, 22, of Wood Green, north London and Ozan Toprak, 27, of Tottenham, north London, are accused of Ali Armagan's murder.

Mr Armagan, 32, was shot in the neck as he sat in a car in Langham Road, in Turnpike Lane, on 1 February.

Mr Sagir and Mr Toprak are due before Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Mr Armagan, a Turkish national from Hackney, died on the pavement near the tube station, in north London.

A third man, aged in his early 20s, who was also arrested in connection with his death, has been bailed pending further police inquiries.
