Turnpike Lane shooting: Two charged with Ali Armagan murder
Two men have appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with shooting dead a man as he sat in his car near a London Underground station.
Ali Armagan, 32 from Hackney, was shot in the neck and died on the pavement near Turnpike Lane station.
Younis Sagir, 22, of Wood Green, north London and Ozan Toprak, 27, of Tottenham, north London, spoke only to confirm their names.
Their case was committed to the Old Bailey for a hearing on Tuesday.
Deputy senior district judge Daphne Wickham remanded the pair in custody.
A third man, aged in his early 20s, arrested in connection with Mr Armagan's death has been bailed pending further police inquiries.
