Boy, three, injured in Plumstead window fall

The Metropolitan Police's child abuse team is investigating after a three-year-old fell 15ft (4.5m) from a first floor window of a house.

The boy was airlifted to hospital and is in a stable condition.

The Child Abuse Investigation Command is looking into the incident, which happened on Wednesday afternoon in Plumstead, south-east London.

A police spokesman could not confirm the whereabouts of the parents at the time and said no arrests had been made.
