Three more people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man at an east London petrol station.

Thomas Cudjoe, 29, was found with multiple wounds on the forecourt of the Shell garage on Ley Street, in Ilford, in the early hours of 3 November.

Three men aged 23, 21 and 20 were arrested earlier on suspicion of murdering him.

Two men aged 22 and 24 who were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder remain in custody.

A post-mortem examination found that Mr Cudjoe, from Ilford, died from stab wounds to the chest and legs.

Det Ch Insp John Sandlin, from the Metropolitan Police, appealed for anyone who saw a blue Ford Focus that was recovered at the scene in the area to contact the force.

"I also wish to speak with anyone who had been in The Bell pub that evening, as well as anyone who saw the altercation at the Shell petrol station," he added.
