Man charged over fatal stabbing in Bow

A man is expected to appear in court on Boxing Day, charged with murder of a man found with multiple stab wounds in an east London street.

Fitzroy Anthony Daley, 36, from Bow, is expected to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Eric Paul, 50, of Burgess Street, Poplar, east London, was found with multiple stab wounds in Devons Road in Bow in the early hours of Saturday.

He was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
