Arrest in Millwall racist abuse probe

A man has been arrested in connection with footage showing Millwall fans racially abusing a Leeds striker.

The Metropolitan Police said a 53-year-old from Enfield was arrested for a racially aggravated public order offence. He remains in police custody.

It comes after a Sky Sports News Special Report on Racism in Football showed Senegal international El Hadji Diouf being abused.

The incident is said to have happened at the Den on 18 November.
