Li Hua Cao death: Husband denies pregnant wife's murder

A man has denied killing his pregnant wife who disappeared seven years ago.

Robert Ekaireb, 38, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to murdering Li Hua Cao, 27.

She was last seen alive in October 2006 when she was four months pregnant and was reported missing in February 2007 by her family. She has not been seen and her body has not been found.

Mr Ekaireb, of Hendon, north London, was remanded on conditional bail to face trial on 24 June.
