A man has been charged with murdering a socialite who was found dead at his flat in London's exclusive Mayfair district.

Roberto Charles Troyan, 63, suffered head injuries on 8 March at his home in Mount Street.

David Jeffs, 36, from Larch Close, Arnold, Nottingham, has been charged with murder.

He is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court later.
