Roundabouts which separate cars from cyclists could be adopted in London next year.

Trials of the road layout, which is in use in the Netherlands, are taking place at a research laboratory in Berkshire.

BBC London's transport correspondent Tom Edwards spoke with London's cycling commissioner Andrew Gilligan, Peter Vermaat from the Transport Research Laboratory and Transport for London's Dana Skelley.
