Bromley PCSO sentenced over child porn

A police community support officer charged with eight counts of possessing indecent images of children has had a five-year sex offenders' prevention order made against him.

Daniel Trayling, 25, based in Bromley, south-east London, will be on the sex offenders' register for five years.

He was also ordered by Croydon Crown Court to complete a 12-month community supervision requirement order.

He was suspended from the police following his arrest last February.

A spokeswoman for the Met said Trayling's barrister told the court his client had resigned from the force but the Met could not confirm that.

He had worked for Clock House Safer Neighbourhood team.

Prevention orders stipulate things the defendant is forbidden from doing and are designed to protect the public.
