Cyclist killed in Holborn lorry crash named

A cyclist who was killed in a collision with a lorry in central London has been named as Alan Neve.

The 54-year-old from Poplar was struck on 15 July outside Holborn Underground station in High Holborn.

Mr Neve was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquest will open at St Pancras Coroner's Court on Monday.

The 51-year-old driver of the tipper lorry was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

He has been bailed until October.
